Low Secure Hospital: Mersey Care want your views on the proposed plans

Date exercise ended - Monday, November 30, 2020

Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust, one of the leading mental health and community health trusts in the country, is asking for the public’s help to guide plans for a proposed new low secure unit for learning disability patients at Maghull Health Park.

Following an announcement last year from the Secretary of State confirming funding for the new hospital in forensic learning disability care at the site, Mersey Care held a series of events to display plans at Maghull Town Hall last year and now want to share developments more widely.

A website has been set up that provides artists’ impressions of what the low secure unit could look like, there’s an area for people to provide ideas and stories and Mersey Care want as many people as possible to complete a short survey about the plans.

Complete the survey and have your say here.
