Statement from Alder Hey regarding new patient helpline

Wednesday, April 25, 2018

Do you have an appointment at Alder Hey over the next few days?

Patients and families will be aware that we have experienced some disruption on the hospital site over the past few days.

We want to reassure everyone that Alder Hey remains open as usual and fully operational. Please do attend your appointment as usual. The continuing care and treatment of all our patients is our first priority. We look forward to welcoming you to our hospital.

A dedicated helpline has been set up to help patients and families who will be attending Alder Hey in the next few days for a clinic appointment, investigation or surgery.

Our helpline number is 0151 282 4919 and we have a team there to help you plan your visit. The helpline number is available 08.00 hrs – 18.00 hrs Monday to Friday.

When you visit the hospital you may notice enhanced security, including police officers. This is a precautionary measure to support the safety of patients, families, visitors and staff.

If you have a query about your appointment, including getting to and from the hospital, parking and cancellations, then please do not hesitate to contact the team on 0151 282 4919.
